Fees
Financial terms
The school fees are set by the Governing Board of KIS.
School fees are the fees charged for students' educational instruction during the regular school day and educational supplies, including exercise books and loan of textbooks. School fees are invoiced over 10 months. Monthly payments must be paid in advance before the end of each calendar month. Fees can also be paid in one payment for the whole year. Please contact the office if you would like to do this.
Current annual tuition fees are:
| Student in Grades 1 – 6 and MYP A |
24 820 NOK |
| Student in MYP B - MYP D |
22 850 NOK |
Further terms:
- The school reserves the right to review the contract and fees annually and charge additional fees for before- and after-school programmes. Any changes to the contract or school fees will be communicated to the school community.
- Failure to make payments can result in the withdrawal of the offer of a place at the school (For further information please see the payment policy in the Parent and Student Handbook)
- The Parent and Student Handbook is part of the contract between the school and the student's parents/guardians
- Students who join the school after 1 October will be charged full year school fees spread over remaining months of the school year.
- Three months written notice is required to terminate the contract. It must be given on the first day of the first month of the notice period. This will even apply if a place has been formally accepted and the child has not yet attended KIS. Under special economic circumstances, a shorter termination period may be negotiated with the Principal.
